A true traveler

We’ll be out of town for a little over a week when this post appears, so as I’m writing it I’m thinking of the necessary preparations. We travel a lot, usually by bus, so packing and packing light are a well-practiced art. Our packing list did double when Tigger came around (or so it seems!), but thankfully her belongings are very small.

Wow, I love how “ID/passport” is in “etc”. : )
I always have to make a list like that when I pack too, although I’m not usually as limited in space, I am usually visiting people I won’t see again for 6-8 months or so, and it takes some planning.
Things that I start “packing” in my mind even months before we leave are things to take to the people we’re visiting (usually family). Books we’ve borrowed from them, or special things I found for them.

I noticed you have a lot in your “first aid” kit. that’s a great idea, something I don’t usually think to pack, but then again, we’re usually visiting family, so they have all those things.

Where are you going on this trip? Hope it’s a fun one!

What is the key to travel with a 5, 7, and 11 year old? Seating them as far away from each other as possible and a DVD player in the car!!
